Cory Quirino speaks at MSEUF Faculty and Employees Congress
Media personality and wellness advocate Cory Quirino walked into the University Gymnasium on Wednesday, with a message for every teacher and employee in the room: slow down and be mindful in taking care of yourself. She headlined the MSEUF 2026 Faculty and Employees Congress on March 12, making the case for holistic health in the workplace.
Quirino, the keynote speaker, focused her address on the quiet toll that workplace stress takes on physical and health. She called on educators and university employees to build healthier daily habits and find practical ways to manage pressure and stress before it builds. In her session, she had a comprehensive approach in wellness by connecting the body, mind, and spirit to each other.
Upon Cory Quirino’s arrival, the university community welcomed her warmly through an introductory cultural dance performance by the MSEUF Banyuhay Dance Troupe. Miss Enverga University Mia Elisse Poblete also accompanied her throughout the program.
Vice President for Administration Atty. Dario R. Opistan introduced Quirino during the opening ceremony. Afterward, the University Chairman Atty. Wilfrido L. Enverga presented her with a plaque of appreciation, with University President Naila S. Leveriza also present for the occasion. In her discussion, Quirino also noted that she has long been acquainted with Atty. Enverga.
