Mia Elisse Poblete of BED-SHS reigns as Miss Enverga University 2026
The University Gymnasium came alive with cheers and flashing lights as Mia Elisse Poblete of Basic Education Department-Senior High School was crowned Miss Enverga 2026, emerging as this year’s titleholder in a night that celebrated beauty, intellect, and purpose, Feb. 12.
This year’s competition carried the theme, “Where Filipina Identity Meets Global Excellence,” highlighting the evolving role of the modern Filipina — grounded in heritage yet capable of thriving on the international stage. Throughout the night, all eleven candidates embodied this vision through their performances and elegance in the presentation and onstage.
Poblete distinguished herself early in the competition, earning several special awards including Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimwear, Best in Production Outfit, and Best in Long Gown. Her consistent performance across segments positioned her as a strong contender leading into the decisive Question and Answer portion.
When asked what quality a globally competitive Filipina possesses, Poblete answered that as change is inevitable, Filipinos pour strength into God’s slumber and have the adaptability that makes them culturally competitive.
Poblete’s advocacy further reinforced her platform. During the Press Conference and Sashing Ceremony held last January 21, she underscored her commitment to promoting accessible quality education. She shared her intention to conduct seminars centered on youth leadership, aiming to empower students with the skills, confidence, and moral grounding needed to contribute meaningfully to society.
The competition was closely contested. Atheena Leonor S. Gaela of the College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management finished as 1st runner-up while also winning the Miss Campus Smile award. Radhakrishna C. Nicodemus of the College of Engineering was 2nd runner-up. Finally, Trixie V. Maypa of the College of Arts and Science won the 3rd runner-up. Daniella Daphne C. Ampatin of the College of Education won the special Miss Congeniality award.
With Poblete’s coronation, Poblete assumes the role of Miss Enverga 2026 carrying both distinction and responsibility. As the University Gymnasium lights dimmed, the message of the night remained clear: the modern Filipina stands firmly rooted in identity while confidently stepping onto the global stage.
Meanwhile, the Miss Enverga Unversity 2026 was judged by Gobi Skyee Ferro, Atty. Perpetuo T. Lucero Jr., Mr. Benito G. Reyes, Grazila Mae R. Pons, Sean Patrick E. Tabuena, Atty. Leonel P. Cadiz, Dr. Desiree May Leveriza-Oh, and Atty. Mirasol de Luna-Anenias.
