EU conducts semestral Health and Wellness Day for faculty, employees

Enverga University highlighted its commitment to the well-being of faculty and employees by holding a Health and Wellness Day, on Oct. 25, at the University Gymnasium. The initiative, organized by the Health and Safety Office, Human Resource Department, Office of Sports and Cultural Relations, and Medical and Dental Services, is a key component of the University's occupational safety and health initiatives and the newly launched "Bantay Kalusugan, Malusog na Envergan" program. 

The event featured energetic Zumba sessions choreographed by Anytime Fitness, health panel discussions about tuberculosis awareness, SOGIE and HIV, healthy lifestyle, and a cooking show with tips on preparing healthy food. Among the highlights were free massages from DLL-LMSTC, and Palarong Lahi, fostering camaraderie among faculty and staff.

Corporate sponsors were Anytime Fitness Lucena Diversion, DLL-LMSTC, Asian Vision Lucena, Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. PROTECTS project, Fernando's Kitchen and Catering, and Lebham's Nails Salon and Spa. The  College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management contributed to the success of the day.

The activity aligns with the University’s dedication to the sustainable development goals (SDG), emphasizing good health and well-being, quality education, and partnership for common goals. By organizing such initiatives, the University continues to set an example for educational institutions, emphasizing the importance of a healthy work environment and the role of partnerships in achieving broader societal goals.
