Enverga University hosts Faculty and Employees' Assembly; emphasizes high-performance culture for educational excellence

Lucena City, Philippines – Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) demonstrated its commitment to fostering a high-performance culture by gathering 379 faculty members, non-teaching staff, and administrators for the annual Faculty and Employees' Assembly, Sept. 1.

Held withthe theme, "Engaging for Excellence: Building a High-Performance Culture," the assembly aimed to elevate the quality of education through collaboration, research, ethical integrity, inclusivity, and continuous professional development.

President and COO Madame Naila E. Leveriza opened the event by underscoring the crucial role each employee plays in MSEUF’s pursuit of excellence. In her address, Madame Leveriza urged participants to embrace their shared responsibility, emphasizing that individual contributions collectively create a dynamic environment where high performance and innovation flourish.

President Leveriza message laid the groundwork for a productive and motivated team, unified in their mission to uphold MSEUF’s standards of academic and operational excellence.

The assembly also featured presentations from key University leaders who elaborated on essential components of a high-performance culture. Dr. Felix Mercado, Dean of DCAVRKMI, highlighted the transformative power of Research Engagement in positioning MSEUF at the forefront of academic and practical advancements. Dr. Claudia Odette J. Ayala, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, spoke on how the university’s core values support a culture of excellence, reinforcing MSEUF’s principles of Mindfulness, Service, Excellence, Unity, and Fortitude in every endeavor.

Engr. Luzviminda Sinapilo, Director of the Office of Quality Improvement, presented on the significance of quality management and accreditation standards, emphasizing that these frameworks are key to meeting performance goals and institutional benchmarks. Her insights on maintaining rigorous quality systems reinforced MSEUF’s ongoing dedication to continuous improvement.

Ethics, integrity, and inclusivity were central to the day’s discussions, led by Vice President for Administration, Dario R. Opistan, who emphasized a robust ethical foundation supported by the Code of Ethics. Director Maria Isabel Granada discussed Gender and Development, reaffirming the university’s commitment to gender equality as a vital aspect of building an inclusive and high-performing workforce.

In a segment dedicated to workplace updates, HRD Director Dr. Maria Sylvia S. Avila outlined recent improvements in policies, compensation, and benefits. These enhancements were designed to support employees in achieving personal and professional goals, while contributing to MSEUF’s productivity and overall work culture.


The assembly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as follows:
