Envergan industrial engineers win ‘Best Paper Award’

Envergan researchers from the College of Engineering won the ‘Best Paper Award’ at the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) 25th Anniversary, 18th National Congress, and 10th Research Conference November 2023. 

Engr. Gervin Espinosa presented the research “Assessment of Manual Coconut Testa Paring Process: A Basis for the Design of an Ergonomic Equipment.” Dr. James Louie Meneses, Kevin Luis Alcala, Bo Jek Coronado, and Ma. Christine Joyce Uy were co-authors of the study.

Engr. Espinosa expressed his gratitude upon receiving the award. 

“I am truly honored and grateful to receive the 'Best Paper Award' during the PIIE 25th Anniversary. I extend my sincere thanks to my co-authors for their invaluable contributions.” Engr. Espinosa stated.
