MSEUF Engineering faculty visits Hytec Power Inc.; partakes in industry immersion
To introduce the latest advancements and practices in power engineering and related fields, and to bridge the gap between academic instruction and real-world industry applications, faculty members from the College of Engineering (CEng) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF) participated in a two-day industry immersion at Hytec Power Inc. in Quezon City, September 27-28.
Engr. Philip Acabado, Engr. Jerico Amago, Engr. Darwin Arcelo, Engr. Mar William Baria, Engr. Danielle Joseph Buban, Engr. Ulrich Divina, Engr. Erwin Ellaza, Engr. Jessa Mae Gomez, Engr. Roland Emerson Mabuting, Engr. Charlene Orian, Engr. Noel Rosales, Engr. Rodher Sedenio, Engr. Micah Ella Tagle participated in training on a variety of subjects, including electrical training solutions, CNC maintenance trainers, automotive and welding technology, and embedded system microcontroller training. In addition, they were introduced to industry-standard software solutions such as COMP TIA and Net Support CMS, further expanding their technical skills and knowledge.
Throughout the program, the faculty engaged in in-depth training sessions designed to enhance their instructional capabilities and bring updated technical know-how back to the classroom.
CEng faculty members were also given opportunities to interact with industry experts, tour the facilities, and engage in discussions aimed at further understanding how modern technological solutions are applied in the field. A significant portion of the immersion focused on practical application, fostering a hands-on learning environment.
The culmination of the immersion program included an evaluation and feedback session, followed by a certificate awarding ceremony.
Faculty members expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to update their skills and enhance their teaching methodologies, ensuring that they can impart cutting-edge knowledge to their students.
