The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) has established a new partnership with Ravina Educational and Consultancy Services to enhance the department's capacity in providing specialized care for neurodiverse clients, Sept. 12.

Dr. Nelson Ravina, an alumnus of the Institute of Graduate Studies and Research at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, will lead efforts in supporting students who face developmental, behavioral, and cognitive challenges, particularly in the Basic Education department.

The new partnership aims to offer comprehensive support for young adults in need of specialized care.

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at the Tobias Y. Enverga Alumni Building.

Key representatives attended the event, including Office of Scholarship and Endowment, Job Placement, and Alumni Relations (OSEJPAR) Director Maria Isabel D. Granada, counselors from the college and basic education departments, and the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) Director.

The collaboration adds to the list of external mental health providers that OSAS works with to deliver tailored therapy and support services to students requiring specialized interventions.

This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by promoting mental health care and addressing the diverse needs of the student population through specialized services. It also aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, as it ensures that all students, including those with learning and developmental challenges, receive the necessary support to thrive academically and personally. SDG 3: Current Collaborations with Health Institutions.
