MSEUF USCS awards four students with 'EU-Kasangga Scholarship Grant'
The Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-University College Student Council (MSEUF-UCSC) recognized four students as recipients of the EU-Kasangga Scholarship Grant during a ceremony held May 4 at the UCSC office.
UCSC leaders, including UCSC President and Program Chairman Madam Gen, UCSC advisers Arby Lagman and Jahzeel Sarmiento, and OSAS Director Joana Fe Panganiban attended the event.
The EU-Kasangga Scholarship Grant, open to tertiary-level Envergans, provides financial assistance covering tuition fees for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2022–2023, with a maximum grant of Php 25,000. The selection process required complete applications to ensure fairness and diligence in awarding the scholarships.
The scholarship was awarded to the following students:
- Joshua R. Lucas
- Gian Andrei M. Riego
- Leidee Mhadeleine I. Ojenal
- Marichris B. Bolado
“These students have shown incredible perseverance and dedication to their education,” said UCSC President Genesis Zerrudo.
“Through the EU-Kasangga Scholarship, we hope to ease their financial burdens and empower them to achieve their academic goals.” Zerrudo added..
Director Joana Fe Panganiban emphasized the importance of providing support to students.
“This grant reflects our commitment to helping students pursue their education without the hindrance of financial challenges,” Dir. Panganiban said.
The scholarship grant has already been reflected in the scholars’ accounts, offering immediate assistance for their academic pursuits.
