OSAS

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), headed by its director, Mrs. Joana Fe Panganiban, the Basic Education Department (BED) Guidance Office conducted the Besties' Troop Support Club (BTS) Training and Orientation at the BED EMRC Room, Aug. 30.

The event aimed to to ensure that students have access to the support they need and to enhance their overall well-being within the school environment and to strengthen the relationship between guidance personnel and students.

The program sought to foster a caring community where students feel heard and supported. Additionally, it aimed to raise student awareness regarding testing and guidance services offered through the BTS club. The initiative also focused on helping students develop crucial skills such as empathy, compassion, and active listening.

BED Guidance Counselors Andrea Nicole Saberola, Charmaine San Miguel, and Sherie Anne Gayeta guided students through the various components of the program, where they featured a comprehensive training session.

The BTS Training and Orientation provided a platform for students to engage actively with the guidance services available to them and to build stronger connections with the guidance personnel. The event was a key step in promoting a more supportive and empathetic school community.
