MSEUF-IMP unveils 'SDG7 Commitment Wall;' encourages public pledges towards 100% renewable energy

Institutional Marketing and Promotions

Institutional Marketing and Promotions (IMP) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (MSEUF), together with the Community Relations Department (CRD), unveiled the 'SDG7 Commitment Wall' at the University Gymnasium, June 23.

This ]initiative encourages public pledges toward supporting 100% renewable energy, in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7), which focuses on affordable and clean energy.

The Commitment Wall provides a space for the MSEUF community to publicly commit to sustainable practices, particularly in energy conservation and the transition to renewable sources.

The wall's construction was completed with the help of National Service Training Program (NSTP) students, who joined the project one week after attending a CRD-organized Environmental Protection seminar. This seminar introduced students to the importance of clean energy and responsible resource management, equipping them to engage in sustainable practices.

Placed in a prominent campus location, the Commitment Wall invites students, faculty, and visitors to reflect on their role in advancing renewable energy. Each pledge added to the wall is a step towards MSEUF's vision of a campus committed to 100% renewable energy and environmental responsibility, supporting both local and global sustainability goals.
