RPIUC conducts 'Pitch to Profit' under the IGNITE-EU Program

The Research Publication, Incubation, and Utilization Center (RPIUC) held Pitch to Profit: Mastering the Business Side of Startup t the Innovation Lab, CCMS Building under the IGNITE-EU Program, Sept. 9.
The cohort-based workshop gathered aspiring technopreneurs and entrepreneurs from the University where it strengthened participants’ business skills and prepared them for future opportunities.
Dr. Jim Acuzar of the College of Business and Accountancy delivered a focused session on key entrepreneurship principles and practical steps for shaping startup business ideas.
Student participants gained a working foundation to refine their concepts and join competitions outside the university.
This initiative demonstrated the university’s commitment to building a campus startup ecosystem and fostering a culture of innovation.

The workshop developed practical entrepreneurship and employability skills through hands-on guidance on market validation, basic financials, and pitching. -

By promoting innovation-led ventures and competition readiness, the activity encouraged productive entrepreneurship and potential job creation. -
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (Targets 9.1 & 9.5)
Using the Innovation Lab and a structured startup pathway supported an enabling infrastructure for innovation and advanced the application of research outputs toward utilization.
