Program Educational Objectives:

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT

  1. To train and develop students to be leaders in hotel and food and beverage management through industry immersion and national and international linkages;
  2. To intensify student`s knowledge and skills with instruction based on international standards;
  3. To produce quality graduates with balanced knowledge, skills and industry exposure in catering, hotel and management;
  4. To demonstrate community involvement, and
  5. To conduct researches concerning hotel and restaurant development program. 

 BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT

  1. To expose and train students to travel and tour operation, airlines and other related industries to strengthen their knowledge and skills in tourism work;
  2. To strengthen Philippine promotions by valuing the country`s socioeconomic, socio-cultural, heritage and environment;
  3. To intensify student`s knowledge and skills with instruction based on international standards;
  4. To demonstrate community involvement, and
  5. To conduct researches concerning tourism development program.

Program Outcomes: (BSTM, BSHM, BSHRM, BSTrM CMO No. 30 Series of 2006)

  1.  Performs work activities effectively and efficiently to the standards expected in the operation required in the tourism industry/hospitality sectors;
  2.  Undertakes task, functions, duties and activities in the operation of the hotels, restaurants, travel, government and non-government agencies in accordance with the competency standards, and
  3. Analyzes situation, identifies problems, formulates solutions and implements corrective and/or mitigating measures and action.
