MSEUF welcomes maroon and white newbies

The entire Enverga University in Lucena City headed by the President/Chief Operations Officer Madam Naila Leveriza formally and warmly welcomed the freshmen and new students of School Year 2014-2015 during the General Orientation Program held at the University Gymnasium, June 24. The program aims to familiarize the new members of the Enverga University family with the school officials and various student services being offered by the institution.

The program was preceded by a Eucharistic Mass with the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Ramil Esplana as the main celebrant. Vice President for Academics, Dr. Benilda N. Villenas gave an inspirational message and introduced the University’s executive, academic, academic support and administrative officials as well as the respective assigned evaluators and guidance counselors of the different colleges/departments. As a sneak preview of various services, programs and year-round activities that the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) gave an audio-visual presentation was also displayed.

The program also highlighted the awarding of the College Entrance Test Topnotchers, as follows:

The program culminated with delightful socializations, intermission numbers and games that fostered camaraderie and friendship among the college freshmen and new maroon and white students.

The activity was organized by the Office of Student Affairs under the over-all supervision of Director Rosario Rago. Prof. Beverlie Garcia, the Acting Director of the Office of Training and Development served as the master of ceremony.

Similarly, different colleges have set their departmental orientation programs to usher the smooth and enjoyable transition to college life, to acquaint with particular academic programs, departmental activities, policies, services and facilities, and to have a chance to meet their respective faculty and staff:
