MSEUF Research and Development Program for Integrating Green Architecture in School Plant and Facilities

 

 

Rationale

The need to mitigate climate change in the 21st Century is no longer an option. Universities around the world are integrating environmental programs that will result in the sustainability of their educational facilities that leads to the enhancement of the learning programs of the academe wherein application and multi-directional approaches that will mobilize the academic community and the stakeholders are integrated into the program.

Objective of the Program

  1. Design and develop buildings adaptive to the needs of the environment
  2. Create long-term environmental solutions that will enhance the physical plant facilities of the university by involving the local community.

  1. Design and Development of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts’  ARCHES: Architectural Center for Human and Environmental Sustainability
  2. Project GAEAA: Green Architecture for Environmental Assessment and Awareness
  3. Assessing the Awareness of the Local Community of Lucena City in the Development of Green Buildings
  4. Proposal of a Green Building in the Integration of the K-12 Program and the College of Architecture and Fine Arts
  5. Examining the Present State of Green Building Architecture in Quezon Province
  6. Development of a Unified Risk Communication Program towards the Protection and Conservation of the Ancestral Houses and Heritage Sites of Quezon Province
