The College of Maritime Education leads the way towards quality education and culture of excellence in the third millennium.
The College of Maritime Education, an integral part of the Manauel S. Enverga University Foundation strives to produce men and women seafarers adequately prepared to commit themselves in the service of God, country and fellowmen.
The College aims to make Maritime graduates competitive in the local and international labor markets, thus enhancing the capability of seafarers to generate the much needed foreign exchange which is vital to economic development.
It aims to enhance the capability of the Maritime Education Sector through purposive faculty development, facilities improvement, and library enhancement.
It also aims to produce qualified manpower in the maritime industry who would contribute to the improvement of the quality of life; maximize and institute an efficient allocation mechanism of human, material and financial resources.
Objectives of the College
As an academic unit of the Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, the College of Maritime Education strives to produce men and women seafarers adequately prepared to commit themselves to the service of God, country and fellowmen.
To achieve this objective, the institute aims to:
Make its graduate competitive in the local and international labor markets, thus enhance the capability of seafarers to generate the much - needed foreign exchange which is vital to economic development.
Continually enhance the academic preparation of its students to make them meet the required qualifications for successful employment in the local and international maritime industry, thus contributing to the improvement of the quality of their lives.
Enhance its capability to provide quality marine engineering and marine transportation education and training through concerted efforts of management, faculty and students to maintain the certification of its management system under ISO 9001:2000 and its accreditation by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines and the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation.
Develop the competitiveness of the Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation programs through a continuing program of development for excellence, relevance and responsiveness of its purposes and objectives, faculty, instructional system, library and laboratories, physical plant and facilities, student personnel services, social orientation and community involvement and organization and administration.
Rationalize the efficient allocation by management of human material and financial resources.
Our primarily goal as an institution of higher learning is to attain excellence in our three-fold function of instruction, research and community service.
We view our services in the dissemination of knowledge, production of new knowledge and the application of knowledge as processes that aim at efficiency, effectiveness and adaptability.
We strive to continually improve in our delivery of these services by:

HELPING and COACHING our faculty, staff and support personnel to give our their level best through our continuing program of upgrading their competencies, awareness and training.
ENSURING our internal and external clients of a fair chance to be heard, to give their feedback about our quality management system in our efforts at devising better ways to enhance their satisfaction.
