The Teacher Induction Program (TIP), a project of the Department of Education (DepEd) in coordination with the Teacher Education Council (TEC) to enhance the training of public school teachers with 0-3 years’ service, will be delivered by the College of Education Oct. 19–23.

The five-day live-in TIP, according to Dean Joselina T. Baylongo, drew 100 participants from island municipalities of the Division of Quezon in coordination with Quezon Superintendent Gloria P. Potes. The induction program will focus on the teacher’s professional ethics, enhancement of teaching skills and strategies in English, mathematics and science and sharing of best teaching practices.

Expected to attend the opening ceremonies and to monitor the TIP are Dr. Avelina Llagas, former Chairperson of the Professional Regulation Commission, Dr. Beatriz Torno, TEC Director II, and DepEd Regional Director Dr. Paraluman Giron.
