Ysmael V. Baysa
Vice-President, Corporate Finance and CFO, Jollibee Foods Corporation

Mr. Ysmael Baysa was born on February 10, 1956 in Sariaya, Quezon. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Accountancy in 1976 at the Luzonian University, and was a former Associate Editor of the school organ, The Luzonian. In 1978 he took his Master in Business Administration at the De La Salle University.

Following his college graduation, he served as Chief Accountant, Citizens Development Inc. at Quezon City for two years, and in mid 1978 he served with various responsibilities in Procter and Gamble Philippines encompassing financial analysis, profit forecasting, costing and in the internal audit. From 1986 to 1988 he was the Senior Financial Analyst, Health & Oral Care Division, Procter & Gamble US at Cincinnati, Ohio. Up to the year 2001 he continued his venture in P&G Philippines as the Associate Finance Manager, Associate Finance Director and immediately the Finance director of the said company. And from 2001 to 2003 he served as the Senior Vice-President, Union Bank of the Philippines.

Mr. Baysa is currently the Vice-President for Corporate Finance and the Chief Financial Officer of Jollibee Foods Corporation. He is responsible for leading the corporation to US$ 1.2 billion worldwide revenues covering 1,645 restaurant outlets of 8 brands in 10 countries with 40 legal entities.

He is affiliated with the Sta. Maria Della Strada Chapter of the Couples for Christ as its Chapter Head, as well as a Member of the Rotary Club of Makati and Financial Executives (Philippines) and Founder and head of the LGV Basketball Club.

He is married to Ma. Emma Sta. Ana Baysa blessed with two children.
