› Trustee Leveriza completes medicine training in Singapore |

EU trustee Dr. Terence Leveriza underwent a six-month subspecialty training in sports medicine at the National University Hospital of Singapore.A board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Leveriza earned his degree at the University of the East and specialized in Trauma and Accidents during his residency training at the Philippine Orthopedic Center. Currently, he is affiliated with the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Mount Carmel Diocesan General Hospital and Quezon Medical Center in Lucena City. He also sits as a consultant of the medical and dental services of the University.
The skills he acquired during his fellowship training at Singapore's premier university hospital included the following:
- The diagnosis of ligamentous injuries to the knee, such as anterior cruciate ligament tears and meniscal tears, and the treatment of these injuries arthroscopically.
- The diagnosis and repair of rotator cuff tears of the shoulder.
- The diagnosis and arthroscopic stabilization of shoulder instability, most often secondary to recurrent shoulder dislocation.
