› Construction Begins on New Nursing Building

As the second biggest department in the University, and statistically the fastest growing, the College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences is set to complete another major phase in its evolution with the construction of its own building.

Schedule to become operational on November 2007, the CNAHS building, located between the CET and AA bldgs., is the campus’ most recent landmark development project since the Doña Rosario Tourism-HRM building was completed in 2003.

The 2-storey building will house the skills and anatomy laboratories plus the 12 lecture rooms of the college. Aside from the Dean’s office and Faculty Room, the 2,000 square meter building will also house the University Infirmary. CAFA Director Benedicto Tan is the building architect.
