As proof of the high-quality education being offered by Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, its College of Computer Studies is identified as a Center for Development (COD) in IT Education by the Commission on Higher Education making it one of the top 41 IT schools in the country today.
The institution was conferred the elusive COD status due to its commitment to the continuous improvement of the field and its capability to serve as a role model in IT Education not only in Southern Tagalog but in the entire country as well. Further, CHED recognizes its capacity to take a lead role in assisting other institutions to develop their own IT programs.
Enverga University’s College of Computer Studies offers four-year courses in Computer Science, Information Technology and Information Management, as well as two-year Associate of in Computer Technology which are re-accredited Level II by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities – Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA). It is also a CISCO Networking Academy, which gives students the opportunity to be globally competitive through its various training programs and activities. Dean Farley Abrigo is the current head of the college.
